Our Framing Process

At Studio Craft, our consultants will take you through the design process to offer framing options that complement not just your artworks, but your own personal style.

Each picture frame consists of three customisable components: a frame, a mat board, and glass.

Frames

Our curated selection of frames (otherwise known as mouldings) range from classic slim designs, ornate 19th century styles, and raw timber varieties.

We also stretch and frame canvas, hand-stain timber frames, and craft Perspex art boxes; all work is crafted by our experienced team on-site.

Mat Boards

A mat board will act as a decorative (and protective!) border around the artwork. Studio Craft offers mat boards in a range of colours, all of which are entirely acid-free.

Glass

While our standard glass is suitable for most frames, we also offer Art Glass that drastically reduces glare and provides 70% UV protection. Archival Perspex is another recommended alternative that provides 90% UV protection, has greater shatter resistance, and is child-safe.
